About Ripley’s Believe It or Not! London

What is Ripley’s?

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! London is an attraction housing a collection of over 700 unusual global artefacts from all over the world, representing the places and cultures visited by Robert Ripley during his travels. Robert Ripley was an intrepid world traveller, cartoonist, reporter, adventurer and seeker of the most bizarre and unusual.

Is it suitable for children?

Our attraction is very interactive and appeals to people of all ages, both young and old. All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. For children of a sensitive nature, visitors can take a detour around our Dungeon area on the fourth floor – a member of staff will be happy to assist with this.

What is the Mirror Maze?


The Marvellous Mirror Maze consists of a series of columns and arches surrounded by hundreds of mirrored reflections in every direction. The unusual floor lighting enhances the “infinity effect” by giving the illusion of continuing hallways, when in fact you are at a dead end! The Ripley’s Mirror Maze challenge is to “get lost” and find your way out again; backwards or forwards, it’s never the same experience twice – enter if you dare!

Is this the same as the other Ripley’s?

Ripley’s personal treasures can be seen in Believe It or Not! attractions around the world. Each venue is unique in its collection of oddities and in their presentation. No Ripley’s Believe It or Not! would be complete without the “old favourites” however – the incredible artefacts and people whose stories Ripley gathered on his journeys around the globe. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! London is the largest Ripley’s in the world – housing over 700 artefacts in over 25,000 square feet.

Visitor Information

How long does it take to visit?

Generally it takes approximately an hour and a half to two hours, but you can walk through at your own pace and take as little or as much time as you wish.

Guided tours

The attraction is self-guided but we will provide guided tours for an additional fee.

Photography


Visitors are more than welcome to take photographs, however tripods and lights may not be used.

Food and drink

We ask that guests dispose of all food, drink and chewing gum products before entering the attraction. We have a Snack Stop located on the 3rd floor should you wish to purchase hot and cold beverages or light snacks.

Gift shop

Our gift shop is located on the ground floor near the exit. It offers an array of Ripley’s themed apparel and books, as well as children’s items and toys.

Snack Stop

Our Snack Stop is situated on the 3rd floor of the attraction. Vending machines offer a range of hot and cold drinks, light snacks and confectionery items. Cash and contactless bank cards are accepted.

Getting here

Opening hours

Ripley’s London is open every day of the year including bank holidays and Christmas Day. We are open from 10:00 until Midnight and the last entry is 22:30. Times may vary due to special events, so please check website for updated information.

Access

Disabled guests

All of the attraction’s exhibitions are accessible by wheelchair. Staff will assist with operating the lifts between each floor and visitor assistants are on hand to help if required.

Disabled parking

Disabled blue badge holders are entitled to park in any coach or pay and display bay. You do need to purchase a ticket, but you will get 1 hour free on top of what you purchase (maximum 4 hours stay) 1 hour costs £4, and you need to ensure the ticket and the badge are displayed in the window.

Depending on the size of your vehicle the nearest disabled parking bays are located on Jermyn Street and Charles II Street, which is located just off lower Regent Street a few minutes from the attraction.

Free carer admission

Ripley’s provides admission for one free carer for each paying disabled guest. Tickets for disabled guests can be purchased in advance, but a carer ticket must be claimed at our admissions desk on arrival with an appropriate form of disability ID such as: Letter/notice of entitlement for Personal Independence Payment, Freedom Pass or Blue parking badge or letter from your doctor.

Strobe and flash lighting

We have strobe and flash lighting in certain areas of the attraction. Should this affect your experience please contact the Ripley’s team either ahead of your visit or on arrival at the admissions desk and they can advise you accordingly.

Pushchairs / buggies

We allow push chairs into the attraction and each floor is accessible by lift. Staff will assist with operating the lifts between each floor and visitor assistants are on hand to help if required.

Storage and Luggage

Unfortunately we can’t guarantee storage for guests visiting the attraction. We offer a small amount of storage space of buggies and pushchairs but this can only be offered on a first come, first served basis due to limited availability.

Ticket Information

Are toddlers and babies allowed free entry?

Children under the age of four are allowed free entry to Ripley’s

If I book my ticket online can I come in at any time?

Yes. When you book your ticket from our website you don’t have to book time slots, you can come in at any time between 10:00 and 22.30.

What is fast track?

If you are looking to visit Ripley’s Believe It or Not! London during a busier period, by upgrading your ticket to include fast track entry for only £3, you will receive faster admission into Ripley’s via the ‘Fast Track Admission Queue’ – please note that there is no separate queue facility for the Marvellous Mirror Maze or any other section of the attraction.

Fast Track is only available on tickets purchased in advance and is not available on the door.

Changing the date of your visit

Should you be unable to attend on your booked visit date after making your booking, please contact our administration team on 020 7494 6818 who will be able to advise if a date change is possible. Date changes can only be made to certain ticket types and if the original booking date has not already passed. Any date change is subject to a £5 administration fee per booking plus any change in the ticket price. All our tickets are non-refundable.

Tickets bought through a third party

If you booked your ticket through a third party which is not on Ripley’s London website you need to bring a printed copy of your voucher on the day of your visit. Please ensure that all terms and conditions are referred to and followed as instructed. Management have the right to declide entry if all steps have not been followed as per the terms and conditions.
